From November 5th till 6th the final tour stop of the Edelweiss Surf Tour – the Alaïa Open Winter Cup – took place in the sunny town of Sion surrounded by snow covered mountain peaks. It was the second edition of the Alaïa Open Winter Cup. Once again the Swiss and international Surfers flocked to the Valais to surf the pristine waves of Alaia Bay. Not only powerful waves and thick neoprenes to combat the cold is part of this unique surf event, but also the crowning of the Swiss Wavepool Champions, the Alaïa Open Winter Cup Winners and the overall winners of the Edelweiss Surf Tour.
