The Moooonster will be on!
On September 6th Thuns favourite surf spot gonna be turned into a surf arena!
It’s the third tour stop of the Edelweiss Surf Tour 2025 and another opportunity for the athletes to gain points for the discpline Rapid Surfing and/or to become the overall winner of the tour.
The winner of the Rapid Surfing Discipline will be crowded at this event.
The RiverSurfJam Thun attracts with a wide range of bands, gastronomy and of course a lot of surf action. There will be a men’s and women’s division with separate scoring. The wave will be surfed at the Mühleschleuse. The wave is affectionately and respectfully called “Monster” by the local surfers.

Competition Registration
The Registration open July 17 at 19.00.
First come, first served
The Active Membership of Swiss Surfing is a requirement for competing. In minimum the 24h Active Membership.
With the annual Active Membership you collect points for the tour and can be purchased at swisssurfing.ch
With the 24h Active Membership you can compete, but you don’t collect points for the tour. You have to order the 24h Membership direct in liveheats
Under 18: Your parents have to sign the Rules of Engagement!
